We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect your data while it is being transmitted between your browser and Google’s servers.

OAuth tokens are handled securely and are only used to authenticate your session; they are never stored permanently on our end.

Data Collection and Usage

We only access file metadata (file and folder names, creation dates and folder structures) to apply your chosen renaming patterns (e.g., indexing, date formatting, or custom text).

We do not read, open, or modify the internal content of your files.

We do not collect personal information, such as your name, email address, or contact details.

No Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. 

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics to monitor your behavior.

The app operates entirely within the Google Workspace environment.

Compliance

Batch Renamer’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our service. Continued use of the add-on constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
