Data Collection and Usage
Batch Renamer only accesses the information strictly necessary to perform its core function: renaming your files and folders.
We only access file metadata (such as file names, creation dates, and folder structures) to apply your chosen renaming patterns (e.g., indexing, date formatting, or custom text).
We do not read, open, or modify the internal content of your files.
We do not collect personal information, such as your name, email address, or contact details.
Data Storage and Security
Batch Renamer does not store your data on any external servers. All operations are processed locally within your Google session.
Your data never leaves the Google ecosystem. Because we do not have an external database, your file information remains entirely within your own Google account.
Permissions
To function, the add-on requires permission to "See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app". We use this permission exclusively to rename the files you select.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics to monitor your behavior.
The app operates entirely within the Google Workspace environment; you will never be redirected to external websites.
Compliance
Batch Renamer’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our service. Continued use of the add-on constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
